The cost of fiberglass pools are not shown here, but are more expensive than the cement pool. The benefit of a fiberglass pool is that roughly only one third of chemicals need to be used, a fiberglass pool does not get algae, ( A HUGE benefit) will not need to be brushed or ever replastered. In short, a fiberglass pool costs more upfront but is less costly in the long run. Once the desired pool size, type and shape is decided upon, the real price comparison can begin.
Inground Pools Prices...
The options for a pool is limitless. Do you want a rolled bond beam, a pool that looks like a natural pond, a waterfall with a cage, and attached spa, or how about a pool that you can wade into? Ladders, waterslides, a fiber optic lighting system are just a few neat things that will add to your inground pool price! Next come the decking surrounding the pool. The deck can be tiled using a large variety of tiles, cemented, or sand can be used for a natural look. A few more items adding to your inground pools prices is of course pool deck furniture including lounges, tables and umbrellas, some plants and lighting.
An inground pool can sure add up in cost. But, not all the accessories need to be purchased at once. Once the pool, the pool cleaner, ladder and the deck is in place, the rest can come later.
